1. Who we are
The "data controller" responsible for personal information collected through the Services is:
Seer Global Solutions Limited
Utako, Federal Capital Territory
Abuja, Nigeria
RC 8064889
Email: privacy@seerglobalsolutions.com
SGSL is a subsidiary of Seer Group Inc., a Delaware C-Corporation (USA). Where SGSL processes personal data on behalf of a client (for example, in delivering custom software or platform services), the client is generally the "data controller" and SGSL acts as a "data processor"; in those cases, the client's own privacy notice governs the substantive processing and our role is limited to acting on the client's documented instructions.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you provide directly
When you contact us, register for a Service, request a proposal, complete a form, or engage our services, we may collect:
- Identifiers — name, business name, job title

- Account credentials — username, hashed password, multi-factor authentication settings (where you create an account)
- Communications — the content of emails, forms, support tickets, and project briefs you send us
- Billing & commercial information — invoicing details, tax identification numbers, and (where applicable) payment confirmations
- Profile content — any text, files, or images you upload to a Service
2.2 Information we collect automatically
When you use the Website or an App, we may automatically collect:
- Device and connection data — IP address, approximate geographic location (derived from IP), device type, operating system, browser type and version, language settings
- Usage data — pages and screens viewed, features used, session duration, click and tap events, referring URLs, timestamps
- Diagnostic data — crash reports, performance metrics, and error logs
- Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 8 and our Cookie Policy
2.3 Information from third parties
We may receive information about you from third parties, including:
- Authentication providers (for example, where you sign in with a Google, Microsoft, or Apple account)
- Business partners, referrers, and integrated platforms that you have authorised to share information with us
- Publicly available sources used for ordinary commercial diligence
- Analytics, advertising, and fraud-prevention service providers
2.4 Sensitive personal data
We do not deliberately collect sensitive personal data (such as racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, or biometric data) through the Website or through general business correspondence. Where any Service we operate processes sensitive data, additional safeguards and notices are provided within that Service.
3. How we use information
We use personal information for the following purposes:
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Services
- To respond to your enquiries, requests, and support questions
- To deliver services under contracts with you or with the organisation you represent
- To send transactional and administrative communications (for example, service notices, security alerts, billing)
- To send marketing communications where you have opted in, with an unsubscribe option in each message
- To personalise your experience and remember your preferences
- To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our Terms or Acceptable Use Policy
- To comply with legal, regulatory, tax, and contractual obligations
- To establish, exercise, or defend legal claims
4. Legal bases (NDPA & GDPR)
Where required by applicable law, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases to process personal data:
- Consent — where you have given clear, specific, and informed consent (for example, opting in to marketing)
- Contract — where processing is necessary to perform a contract with you, or to take steps at your request before entering into a contract
- Legal obligation — where we must process personal data to comply with Nigerian or other applicable law
- Vital interests — where processing is necessary to protect someone's life
- Public interest — where required for a task carried out in the public interest
- Legitimate interests — where processing is necessary for our legitimate interests (such as securing our systems, improving our Services, or growing our business), balanced against your rights and freedoms
5. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell personal information. We share personal information only as described below:
- Within the Seer group — with our parent company, Seer Group Inc. (Delaware, USA), for group operational, financial, security, and compliance purposes
- Service providers and sub-processors — such as cloud hosting, email delivery, customer support, analytics, error monitoring, telephony, identity, and payment processors, all under written contracts containing confidentiality and data-protection obligations
- Clients — where you interact with a Service operated for a client, your information may be shared with that client as the data controller
- Professional advisers — lawyers, auditors, accountants, and consultants, where reasonably necessary
- Authorities and regulators — where required by applicable law, court order, lawful request, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of SGSL, our users, or others
- Successors — in connection with any merger, acquisition, financing, reorganisation, or sale of business assets, subject to customary confidentiality terms
6. Third-party services
Our Services may incorporate or rely on third-party technologies, including authentication providers, cloud infrastructure (such as AWS and Microsoft Azure), payment providers (such as Paystack, Flutterwave, and Stripe), communications platforms, AI model providers, analytics tools, and — where applicable — software development kits provided by app store and social-platform operators (including Apple, Google, and Meta) for the purpose of distributing or running our Apps.
Each third party is responsible for its own handling of personal data under its own privacy policy. We recommend reviewing the privacy notices of any third-party service you use in connection with our Services.
7. International data transfers
Because SGSL operates as part of a corporate group with operations in Nigeria and the United States, and because we use international cloud and service providers, personal information may be transferred to, processed in, or accessed from countries outside Nigeria, including the United States and the European Economic Area.
Where such transfers occur, we take appropriate measures to ensure that the information remains protected, including reliance on contractual safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable), reliance on adequacy decisions where they exist, and the mechanisms permitted under the NDPA and NDPR.
8. Cookies and tracking
The Website uses a limited number of cookies and similar technologies to operate properly, remember preferences, and understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect site functionality. For full details, see our Cookie Policy.
9. Data security
We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, loss, or destruction. These include, among others:
- Encryption of data in transit using industry-standard TLS
- Encryption of sensitive data at rest where appropriate
- Role-based access control and the principle of least privilege
- Multi-factor authentication for administrative access
- Regular patching, vulnerability management, and dependency monitoring
- Logging, monitoring, and incident-response processes
- Confidentiality obligations for personnel and contractors
No system is completely secure. If you believe your interaction with us is no longer secure, or you suspect a security incident affecting your information, please notify us immediately at privacy@seerglobalsolutions.com.
10. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as is reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, deliver Services, comply with legal, accounting, tax, and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When personal information is no longer needed, we will either securely delete it or anonymise it so that it can no longer be associated with you.
Specific retention periods vary by data type and by Service. Where you have an account with us, we generally retain your account information for the duration of the account and for a reasonable period thereafter for legal and operational reasons.
11. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Rectification — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
- Erasure — request deletion of your personal information (see Section 12)
- Restriction — request that we restrict processing in certain circumstances
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests, including direct marketing
- Portability — receive your personal information in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format
- Withdraw consent — withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent (without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal)
- Complain — lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) or another competent supervisory authority
To exercise these rights, please write to privacy@seerglobalsolutions.com with sufficient information to verify your identity and the nature of your request. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law (and in any event without undue delay).
12. Account & data deletion
You may request deletion of your account and the personal information associated with it at any time.
How to request deletion: send an email to privacy@seerglobalsolutions.com from the email address associated with your account (or otherwise provide sufficient information for us to verify your identity), stating clearly that you wish to delete your account and the data associated with it, and naming the Service or App concerned. We will acknowledge your request within seven (7) business days and complete the deletion within thirty (30) days, unless a longer period is permitted or required by law.
Where a Service offers an in-product self-service deletion option, instructions are provided within that Service.
We may retain certain limited information after deletion where necessary to comply with legal, tax, accounting, audit, or regulatory obligations; to resolve disputes; to enforce our agreements; or to protect against fraud and abuse. Such retained information is stored securely and used only for the purposes that justify its retention.
13. Children's privacy
Our Website and Services are not directed to children under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child, please contact us at privacy@seerglobalsolutions.com and we will take appropriate steps to delete the information.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal obligations, or for other operational reasons. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Where changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you (for example, by posting a prominent notice on the Website or, where appropriate, by email).
